Boxing - Boxing is casing around pipes, below is a picture showing an example of boxing acting as a casement around a 100mm pipe.
Firstly studs are put in place (two are fixed onto the wall and the third is needed for the ply to have something to be fixed to). Then ply is fitted to the studs using pins at approximately 400mm centres.
